Negative Magic

QUILLS & METHOD OF EVALUATION        

    Quills are awarded to students at the end of each term for every class that they successfully complete. Think of quills as like a muggle high school credit. Students must earn at least 3 Quills by the end of each term to move up to the next year. (Hogwarts Online Handbook, Chapter 7.4)

    This course is worth (2) two quills because of the demanding workload. In order to pass the course, the student must participate actively in the classroom (RP), do all the tasks (written homework and/or practical) to be done at the end of the lesson and pass the Exam. Students who were not able to to satisfactorily meet all the requirements will not receive quills.

Passing Grades
90-100% O (Outstanding)
80-89% E (Exceeds Expectations)    
70-79% A (Acceptable)
Failing Grades
60-69% P (Poor)
50-59% D (Dreadful)
0-49% T (Troll)

HOUSE POINTS

    All assignments completed for classes gain house points. All professors are required to give house points for each assignment turned in. (Hogwarts Online Handbook, Chapter 7.4)

    There are three ways that I will gladly give House Points to those who will satisfactory participate in my class through the following: Class discussion, Assignments (written and/or practical) and Exam.
